Twisted Faet

A long time ago the Fae Courts realized that they were incapable of reaching a decision or agreement many times due to their wildly varying natures, moods, and goals. So was born the Twisted Faet Games. Once or twice every century unsettled disputes over Domains, disagreements over proper etiquette for mortal interference, or even who wore the best hat are presented. All of these conflicts are then settled by wagering on the Lesser Fey and Changelings selected to be the players of this game. A veil of secrecy and a mask to hide their identity are bestowed upon them before they are granted limited time access to the mortal realm and neighboring plains. There they shall run amok in the name of strange missions and obtuse goals that seem frivolous or outright stupidly deadly. Secrecy helps protect participants from the entities they may interact with while participating in the games. There is also the added bonus of preventing any Arch Fae from finding out who caused them to lose a wager. However,the magic that protects players is frail. Falling apart as they fail tasks or when they have to reveal their full potential. Whether this is by design or the ignorance of the game’s Organizers is unclear…They refuse to comment. But one thing is certain. Failing is ill advised; as succeeding or failing you will be angering at least one powerful Arch Fae. So, it's best to try and keep your identity as secret as possible. It's not all bad though! There are great rewards to any contestants who make it through, but the champion of the games receives a very small domain of their own within the lands. A very tempting offer to fey and changelings that may not know any better.

Our team (Andrew, Hank, Abby, Cassidy, Jorj, Dakota, Damian, and Duncan.) wanted to try and (hopefully) Make something fun and unique to play while sticking to the Jams theme of "Secrets and Rumors". A unique fast way to build characters and a selection of optional rules to help tell stories that will help make every game ran a fun and unique experience. To play all you need is a few friends, a set of Tarot (or playing cards), some paper, pencils and a d12!
